The world of Web3 does not have a single dull moment it seems. It was recently announced that Times Square Mall in Hong Kong is going to venture into the virtual world with a replica metaverse location, partnering with Bunny Warriors and AiR metaverse, they have already built a version of Hong Kong in their online world.
This new partnership will be the first entry of a shopping mall into the AiR metaverse and probably the newest in a long line of many anticipated virtual world updates by AiR. Aiming to connect with every aspect of life to the metaverse, the company is growing and creating a great footing in the Web3 space.
The Chief Executive Officer of AiR, Terence Chow even stated, “Starting with the collaboration with Times Square, we want to provide shoppers with the first – and a unique – metaverse experience and show them we are the most accessible and practical metaverse to the general public.”
It is hoped that this new project, will help in the improvement of the foot traffic for the Times Square Mall, especially after the tremendous challenge had to face in the trying times that affected the retail industry hugely. Various companies are looking for ways to boost sales, especially as social distancing rules and Covid regulations are still in place and with a replica mall in the metaverse, users can browse and buy in a single place, safely and without breaking any COVID regulations, without any chances of the virus spreading.
A Times Square exhibition in the metaverse mall already exists, which is a Bunny Warriors pop-op store and here visitors can try out the popular metaverse game. There are also sixty Bunny Warriors NFTs available to buy in the virtual mall. We all are extremely excited to explore this metaverse and see how it is going to change the industry in the future.
