Meta parent company of Facebook will be opening a retail store in the San Francisco Peninsula offering hardware for virtual reality space.
On Monday Meta announced they would also open a retail store in Burlingame, California on May 9 which aims at providing amazing demos for company products which includes virtual reality headsets, video communications displays and smart glasses. The store will be located in the meta campus and headquarters in Menlo Park that will feature a wall to wall curved LED screen that displays what users are seeing while using headsets.
Rebranding of Meta By Facebook was done in October 2021 saying this time there was on expanding Social Media and later they announced its Metaverse version for connecting online social experience and the physical world.
Although Facebook’s roughly 2.9 billion users have not had the opportunity to enter a company retail store since the company was founded in 2004.
Many firms in Metaverse are scooping up virtual properties with Samsung that will be launching metaverse stores in the blockchain world Decentraland in January.
